With the new map I decided it was about time to add in a real economy. Before everything has been distributed by the admins, well not on the new map. We will run shops in a similar fashion, you tell the shop keep how much of what you want to buy, you put the coal in a chest and the shop keep gives you the goods. It's a simple system that works and will continue using it, except the players will run it. This means a player run economy based on supply and demand, the players will run their own shops and set their own prices... to an extent. If you (and other players) are clearly price gouging then an admin will regulate your prices. (We wont be price nazi's, however if your charging something like 200c per stack of wool we will step in.)
This means if you want to run a shop you have to gather your own materials. It also means that you have to keep your store continuously stalked. You can hire other players to do this work for you, there will be a minimum wage of course. Shops will be pre built, which means you will be renting them out. You will need to pay a fee per month.
So, here are the current prices for help and rent. They are subject to change.
Rent - 124c or 2d Minimum Wage - 30c an hour, you need to keep track of this. This is per person.
Edit - You can pay people whatever you want, you can't go below minimum wage though. Keep that in mind when looking for help, minimum wage might not sound appealing so you might have to pay more.
