I have been telling students and friends about our server as well. I think that is another great way to spread the word.

You might also consider posting something to your Facebook. You may be surprised at which of your friends/family have Minecraft (or have been considering buying it). Let them know that you can help them get started if they need it.

But back to the topic, instead of just saying "bump" on the Recruitment Thread, give a testimonial about how great you think the server is [and possibly why].
