Anyone here a George Romero fan? Yes, definitely. Sometimes his zombie flicks go a little over the top -- but they are THE classic zombie movies. Night of the Living Dead -- the CLASSIC -- was done the year I was born. It was the scariest movie I ever saw as a kid. That little girl with the trowel in the basement... yikes. Dawn of the Dead was an amazing story of survivors being stuck in a mall. It's one of the few movies I bought on DVD from the 1970's. They remade this but it lacks something. Creepshow was cool as a teenager. I always loved the movies that had several little separate stories in them. Creepshow 2 was even better -- and that floating sludge on the lake is still creepy to me. He produced Tales from the Darkside in the late 80's which was a cool approach to a weekly series. Kind of a horror approach to the Twilight Zone. Anyway... yeah, I am a fan.

I completely love Night of the Living Dead. It's the one movie I've watched EVERY SINGLE HALLOWEEN since... birth?
Dawn of the Dead is pretty awesome.
Romero is a Genius.
